Warehouse Maintenance Technician

Receives verbal or written instructions from supervisor and/or other designated plant personnel.

Exercises basic skills in the cleaning and maintenance of distribution center/warehouse machines involving a number of basic related tasks which often follow the same sequence. Such tasks may be performed within a department or across multiple departments.

Daily routine cleaning duties including but not limited to sweeping, mopping and general cleaning.

Mowing, weed eating and general outside maintenance. Trash removal, operating a forklift, lifting, and assisting the maintenance department in various job functions as needed.

Perform other duties as directed including general labor duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years previous maintenance experience (preferred)
• Previous experience with side loaders, gas powered lift trucks, forklifts, carts, floor operated overhead crane, skids, scale, various hand tools, chains, hooks, slings, buckets, wood, lawn care equipment, paint can depletion system and cleaning equipment and supplies, etc.
