Maintenance Supervisor - Critical Facilities

Location: Central Ohio | Local/Regional Travel + Limited Overnight Travel

Salary: $70,000–$85,000, depending on experience

Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings/weekends and rotating on-call responsibilities

At Tech Site, we are committed to keeping our customers' mission‑critical facilities running smoothly, ensuring you can stay connected and operate with confidence. We expertly plan, design, build, test, operate, and maintain these essential spaces, aiming to maximize reliability and efficiency with speed, expertise, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Tech Site is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee preventive maintenance and service activities across customer facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong facilities or technical background who wants to use that experience in a role that combines field oversight, contractor coordination, customer interaction, and critical-facilities operations. And an important distinction: you won't be the person turning the wrench every day.

You'll oversee the contractors who are. You'll coordinate maintenance activities across multiple customer sites and serve as a key connection between Tech Site, its customers, and the specialized contractors performing the work.

What You'll Do:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, repairs, and service activities across assigned customer locations.
  • Provide on-site oversight of HVAC, electrical, UPS, generator, fire protection, and other specialized service contractors.
  • Manage multiple vendors working on-site simultaneously and make sure work is completed safely and correctly.
  • Review and implement Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and ensure maintenance follows approved procedures, customer requirements, contracted scopes, and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Serve as a primary maintenance contact for customers and keep them informed about schedules, completed work, findings, risks, and next steps.
  • Respond to alarms, equipment issues, service calls, and maintenance emergencies and coordinate the appropriate resources.
  • Review vendor and Tech Site reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collect vendor documentation and prepare required customer reports, maintenance records, incident reports, and work orders.
  • Identify deficiencies, incomplete work, safety concerns, and maintenance issues and make sure they are resolved or appropriately escalated.
  • Help coordinate repairs, corrective work, estimates, scopes, and customer proposals when additional work is identified.
  • Maintain accurate equipment information, customer records, contacts, maintenance documentation, and related databases.
  • Ensure employees and vendors follow applicable safety requirements, including electrical safety, PPE, Arc Flash, Hot Work, customer-specific requirements, and Tech Site procedures.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who understands commercial or industrial building systems and can confidently oversee the people maintaining them. You may have built that experience through facilities maintenance, HVAC, electrical work, mechanical systems, building operations, data centers, or another mission‑critical environment.

You should bring:

  • Experience coordinating or supervising maintenance activities, vendors, contractors, or service providers.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical building systems.
  • Enough hands‑on technical experience to understand what contractors are doing and recognize when something doesn't look right.
  • Experience with commercial, industrial, critical‑facility, or similar equipment and environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • The ability to read and understand equipment documentation, maintenance procedures, specifications, and drawings.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customers, facilities, vendors, and priorities.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort interacting directly with customers.
  • The ability to produce accurate, professional reports and documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft…
