Position Overview:
Under limited supervision responsible for managing and guiding supervisory maintenance personnel and ensuring efficient utilization and accountability for plant vehicles as well as for space and facilities based on needs, space limitations, and cost considerations for the DUF6 project. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities to support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Functional:
- Manages and provides direction/guidance to Maintenance Supervisors on day-to-day activities
- Supervises all maintenance personnel assigned to conversion plant and janitorial maintenance personnel
- Directs, schedules, and coordinates maintenance activities of plant equipment, vehicles and systems
- Schedules and coordinates facility services relating to new construction, remodeling, modifications, maintenance, and rearrangement of buildings, equipment, fixtures and systems ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, rules, regulations, laws and organizational standards for the DUF6 project
- Coordinates activities for all personnel involved in the repair and maintenance of vehicles, facilities, buildings, and equipment to minimize interruption and improve efficiency
- Prepares related reports and audits current procedures to monitor efficiency of operations
- Interfaces with all levels of management, engineering, and external contractors, subcontractors and vendors with respect to maintenance activities and requirements as well as configuration control and management
- Maintains maintenance data including property lists, maintenance status and maintenance schedules
- Develops new or unusual solutions based on advanced principles within the facilities and construction trades as guided by plan, schedule, and budget
- Formulates and monitors organizational facility standards
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures

Job Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent
- 6+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- 3+ years of nuclear experience
- Prior supervisory experience in an industrial facility (preferred)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12)
