Key Responsibilities & Skills Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, motors, and shafts.
Replace and align chains/sprockets and properly tension drive systems.
Remove and replace bearings, shafts, and housings using proper fits and lubrication.
Align motors and shafts using mounts, shims, and straight edges.
Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, motor wiring, and use a multimeter.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
Complete preventive maintenance independently.
Follow Lockout/Tagout, plant safety, and food safety procedures.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability and experience in an industrial manufacturing environment are preferred.
