- Maintenance Technician (Temp-to-Hire) – 2nd shift
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: 2nd shift 3pm-11pm
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for an individual who is drug-free, dependable, and eager to learn. The Maintenance Technician will assist with maintaining equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery.
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to schedules.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production support needs.
- Work with team members and supervisors to improve equipment performance.
- Travel occasionally to the Hiram location when required.
- Previous maintenance experience is required.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong attendance and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
