Job Description

The Building Maintenance Painter is responsible for painting and general maintenance support across multiple client facilities. This position serves as the primary resource for painting, touch-ups, surface preparation, and minor drywall repairs. The role will also assist with preventive maintenance, cleaning, trash removal, and other duties requested by the client.

Responsibilities

Complete interior and exterior painting projects.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and priming.
Perform paint touch-ups and minor drywall repairs.
Protect floors, furniture, and fixtures during painting projects.
Complete assigned preventive maintenance and minor building repairs.
Assist with cleaning, trash removal, and general facility upkeep.
Respond to work orders and client requests.
Maintain painting tools, equipment, and supplies.
Travel between assigned client facilities.
Follow all company and site safety procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1–2 years of commercial painting experience.
Experience with surface preparation, drywall patching, and paint application.
Basic knowledge of general building maintenance.
Ability to safely use ladders, painting equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
Ability to work independently and manage assignments across multiple locations.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Strong attention to detail and customer-service skills.
