The Maintenance Manager is responsible for hands on operations of all facility equipment.
Tasks and Responsibilities:- - Organize repairs as needed.
- - Perform preventative and schedule maintenance on facility equipment.
- - Schedule, conduct & document fire and disaster drills.
- - Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing issues.
- - Maintain accurate records and logs on maintenance activities.
- - Other duties as assigned.
- - Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, & plumbing repair.
- - General handy man expertise.
- - Knowledge of compressors, generators, & boilers helpful.
- - Knowledge of Life Safety Code & State Nursing home regulations.
- - Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- - Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- - Ability to work independently.
- - Must have high school education or equivalent.
- - Vocational or technical school preferred.
- - Strong communication skills.
- - Two years experience in nursing home environment.
