Service Support Technician

Full‑time Service Support Technician – Facility Services Support Technician (custodian)

Provide a security presence and perform floor care maintenance tasks, along with other duties assigned by the Facility Services Department. This role ensures a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

• Observe and promote safe work practices and procedures.
• Serve as the after‑hours point of contact for the Facility Services Department.
• Respond to after‑hours maintenance requests promptly.
• Remove trash, linen, and bio‑waste; restock linen supplies.
• Conduct security rounds and respond to emergency codes.
• Complete task incident reports.
• Clean minor spills and provide routine floor care maintenance.
• Perform surveillance rounds and lock/unlock doors as needed.
• Escort individuals and assist with other facility tasks such as pressure washing, window cleaning, and ice melt application during winter weather.
• Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position and maintain competency in all job duties.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
