Utility Technician

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Utility Technician based in Chickasha, Oklahoma. You’ll coordinate and undertake a range of maintenance activities within defined operating procedures, conduct safety inspections, and comply with Aggreko's safety regulations. Provide first level technical advice to customers and may resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems. Power without pause. Heating, cooling, and oil-free air without end. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.

• Perform work out of our Chickasha Oklahoma service center
• Load and unload rental equipment and materials with large and small forklifts
• Prepare and verify quality/accuracy of counts of rental equipment prior to delivery
• Clean and put away rental equipment upon return to service center
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized and up to safety standards
• Drive inventory accuracy of rental equipment and accessories
• Inventory cycle counts
• Wash rental equipment
• Inspect and repair cable

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent
• 0-3 years of experience working in a yard or warehouse.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Embrace and promote safety culture
• Positive, self-starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality
• Reliable and committed to delivering quality performance
• Able to work overtime, travel and on call
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75lbs.

• Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts
• Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices
• Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level
• Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders
• Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs.), push/pull (80 lbs.), carry (60 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs.), stoop, kneel and squat
