POSITION SUMMARY
HVAC professional responsible for delivering technical and applications training across all Climate Control Group (CCG) brands. Trains and develops distribution partners, engineers, contractors, employees, sales representatives, and other stakeholders in product application, equipment selection, installation, service, troubleshooting, and safety practices. Delivers engaging hands-on and virtual training, develops instructional materials, and ensures training content reflects current industry standards, technologies, and CCG product requirements.

Trains and develops distribution partners, engineers, contractors, employees, sales representatives, and other stakeholders in product application, equipment selection, installation, service, troubleshooting, and safety practices. Delivers engaging hands-on and virtual training, develops instructional materials, and ensures training content reflects current industry standards, technologies, and CCG product requirements.
EssentialFunctions
- Conduct in-person and virtual technical and applications training for all CCG brands at CCG facilities and distributor, contractor, engineer, and customer locations.
- Develop and update technical and applications training materials, manuals, presentations, and e-learning content for all CCG brands.
- Deliver applications training covering product capabilities, equipment selection, system design, controls, installation requirements, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrate tools, diagnostic procedures, and best practices.
- Partner with CCG engineering, product management, sales, and service teams to ensure training reflects current product requirements and applications guidance.
- Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards are met.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in HVAC technology preferred.
- EPA 608 Certification required.
- Additional certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, OSHA 10/30, etc.) strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation, service, and repair.
- Prior experience in training, coaching, or mentoring technicians is a plus.
- Familiarity with commercial and residential HVAC systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, learning management systems (LMS), and virtual training tools.
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and interpersonal skills, effectively with employees, owners, sales reps, and contractors at all levels
- Ability to organize, plan, prioritize work, and attention to details.
- Willingness to travel on short notice.
- Ability to work autonomously and assist in complex issues and duties.
- Ability to record and efficiently document information
