Supervisor, Facility Maintenance
As the Supervisor, Facility Maintenance, you'll take a hands on approach with the upkeep and repair of buildings, ensuring that they meet safety and health regulations and look presentable. You'll be managing a team of one Facility Technician and coordinating their tasks, as well as managing the budget and vendor contracts for maintenance and repairs.
The ideal candidate will have general building maintenance experience (painting, basic electrical, plumbing, general repairs, grounds maintenance) as well as supervisory experience. You'll be managing vendor contracts and outsourcing large repairs. This person will be responsible for maintaining Teleflora's building and grounds to provide employees with a safe, attractive and comfortable place to work.
This is an onsite position, working Monday-Friday from 8a-5p, with on call time and weekend work if necessary.
This position is located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Job Description- Complete scheduled monthly checks through the building
- Change filters as needed
- Check sprinkler heads during spring and summer to ensure they are working properly
- Make general maintenance repairs to the building, including painting, moving furniture and building out work spaces
- Coordinate, perform or assist in repairs involving basic electrical, mechanical and plumbing
- Inspect the facility regularly to identify issues and necessary repairs
- Supervise and manage maintenance team and assigning tasks
- Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for the facilities and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Manage budgets, including purchasing supplies and equipment for repairs and renovations
- Ensure all equipment is regularly maintained and operates efficiently
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work onsite Monday-Friday, 8a-5pm, with on call hours and occasional nights/weekends
- Contract and oversee outside vendors for large-scale maintenance and repairs
- Additional duties as required
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Requirements:
- Specialized commercial plumbing, mechanical, refrigeration and electrical vocation experience in or after high school helpful
- Must be able to use tools and equipment related to these fields with expertise acquired through extensive experience and/or specialized training
- Heavy lifting, ability to pull push or lift up to 70 pounds
Knowledge:
- Give and receive simple instructions and respond to questions
- Perform data recordings/record keeping operations, determining what changes need to be made to existing records
- Perform routine mathematical computations requiring a knowledge of fractions, decimals and/or percentages
- Read and interpret complex materials
- Basic ability to use a Windows based computer utilizing email, create and edit documents, organize and manage files, etc.
Licenses:
- An Occupational Refrigeration License is helpful
- Valid driver's license is required
- Must be able to acquire forklift certification
