Housekeeper - Midwest City
This role provides essential housekeeping services to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in a variety of facility areas. You will perform routine and detailed cleaning tasks across patient rooms, offices, common areas, restrooms, and food service spaces while supporting a culture of safety, respect, and teamwork. Two shifts are available: 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning services in patient rooms, offices, common areas, restrooms, and food service areas to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Complete scheduled cleaning tasks according to established routines and hygiene standards.
- Handle floor care duties, including mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming, to ensure floors remain safe and presentable.
- Sanitize surfaces and high-touch areas to support a healthy and safe environment for all occupants.
- Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and correctly as needed for assigned tasks.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and cleanliness procedures while performing daily duties.
- Report to work on time and maintain satisfactory attendance in accordance with scheduling requirements.
- Communicate courteously with staff, visitors, and others to provide helpful and professional customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to complete shared tasks and support overall department goals.
- Perform other housekeeping and custodial duties as assigned based on facility needs.
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, custodial, or cleaning experience, preferably in settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, or commercial buildings.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks, including mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong commitment to maintaining a healthy, safe, and hygienic environment.
- Demonstrated reliability with great attendance and punctuality.
- Customer service skills with a professional and respectful demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support a collaborative work environment.
- Adaptability to handle varying tasks and changing priorities throughout the shift.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in healthcare or long-term care environments is beneficial.
- Comfort interacting with patients, residents, staff, and visitors in a courteous and supportive manner.
- Willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and follow detailed instructions and schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean and orderly spaces.

Housekeepers work on either a 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) or a 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM), depending on staffing needs. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Midwest City, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $14.00 - $16.00/hr.
