Omni Oklahoma City Hotel
Come and join our team at this 605‑room convention center hotel located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, next to the Paycom Center (OKC Thunder), the Oklahoma Convention Center, and across the street from the 70‑acre Scissortail Park. The property features Mokara Spa, six food and beverage outlets, 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a retail outlet, fitness center, and rooftop pool.
OverviewEnsure a safe, efficient, and well‑maintained hotel environment.
Responsibilities- Monitor Central Plant Operations and perform daily readings and testing.
- Maintain all HVAC equipment in guestrooms, public areas, and function rooms.
- Provide technical assistance to other technicians as necessary.
- Operate and maintain other equipment as needed.
- Maintain inventory and order HVAC supplies.
- Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergency protocols.
- Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
- Take responsibility for all water treatment.
- Maintain accurate refrigerant logs.
- Apply HAZCOM, Lockout/Tagout, and Bloodborne Pathogen program requirements.
- Be certified in Refrigerant Recovery.
- Holds required licenses as applicable.
- Ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris, or obstructions that may inhibit safe, efficient performance.
- Previous maintenance experience required; hotel experience and training preferred.
- Minimum two years of hotel and/or commercial building maintenance experience.
- One year of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment experience required; commercial refrigeration experience a plus.
- Proven experience responding to emergency situations.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, time management, computer, and guest satisfaction skills.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, crawl for short durations, bend, reach overhead, squat, kneel, and lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Capability to use step stools and ladders safely.
