The Engineer - HVAC is a specialist on the Engineering team responsible for the upkeep and operation of HVAC systems throughout the resort. The main areas include the guestrooms, public areas, grounds, meeting space. Food & Beverage outlets, back of the house areas, and retail locations. Duties include daily operational inspections, routine & preventive maintenance, and system evaluations. They will work closely with the department leadership to assess major repairs needed to HVAC systems.

This individual must carry relevant certifications and have experience operating other equipment, including mechanical, electrical, life safety and electrical.

QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma; college and/or Building & Mechanical certifications are preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in full-service hotel or resort.
• Read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Strong technical skills in HVAC systems.
• Familiar with chillers, cooling towers, chemical treatments, pneumatics,…
