The Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) is seeking an experienced and dependable Custodial Manager to lead and oversee custodial operations throughout our healthcare facilities. This role is responsible for supervising custodial staff, establishing and maintaining cleaning standards and schedules, ensuring proper cleaning and disinfection practices, and supporting a clean, sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with a commitment to infection prevention, regulatory compliance, quality service, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Clinic.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:- Recruits, trains, supervises, coaches, and evaluates housekeeping staff; oversees staffing, scheduling, daily assignments, performance, and competency.
- Directs housekeeping operations across all OKCIC facilities, ensuring appropriate staffing, cleanliness, sanitation, and service standards.
- Develops, implements, and maintains standardized housekeeping, cleaning, and disinfection procedures, schedules, and frequencies for clinical, administrative, and support areas.
- Ensures compliance with infection prevention practices, waste handling, chemical safety, PPE, OSHA requirements, and applicable healthcare regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Conducts routine environmental rounds and inspections; identifies deficiencies, documents findings, and implements corrective actions and process improvements.
- Collaborates with Infection Prevention, Facilities, Safety, Quality, and department leadership to address environmental concerns, promote patient and employee safety, and maintain regulatory readiness, including The Joint Commission standards.
- Develops and oversees staff orientation, training, competency assessments, and ongoing education related to housekeeping, infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Manages housekeeping equipment, supplies, chemicals, and PPE, including inventory, storage, maintenance, repairs, replacement, and cost‑effective utilization.
- Oversees housekeeping and specialty cleaning operations, including staff performance, service quality, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Maintains accurate records related to staffing, training, competencies, inspections, corrective actions, supplies, equipment, and other departmental activities.
- Assists with departmental budget development and monitors expenses to support cost‑effective operations.
- Responds to urgent housekeeping needs, spills, environmental concerns, complaints, emergencies, and special cleaning projects.
