This position entails cleaning non-occupied patient rooms, ensuring each room is thoroughly deep cleaned within 20-30 minutes. Responsibilities include making beds, flipping mattresses, and disinfecting entire rooms, as well as handling heavy linen bags. The role also involves cleaning isolation rooms, requiring adherence to strict safety measures and occasionally wearing full protective gear. Quality of work will be assessed by supervisors using fluorescent light and visual inspections.
Responsibilities- Deep clean non-occupied patient rooms within 20-30 minutes.
- Make beds and flip mattresses.
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect entire room.
- Lift and manage heavy linen bags.
- Clean isolation rooms following strict safety measures.
- Mop floors with a string mop and sanitize surfaces.
- Wear protective gear when necessary.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness as checked by supervisors.
- Experienced in housekeeping and maintaining clean, organized, and sanitary environments.
- Skilled in custodial duties, including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms and common areas.
- Knowledgeable in environmental services practices and infection control procedures.
- Proficient in mopping floors and maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic areas.
- Experienced in sweeping, dusting, and removing debris to ensure a safe environment.
- Skilled in sanitizing surfaces and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
