Requirements:
Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months. If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months. Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full-time students consecutively for the last 36 months.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.

Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining the office building, shower facility and main employee break room in a sanitary and orderly condition including laundering clothes/towels while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Launder clothes and towels to maintain an adequate supply for all team members. (40%)

* Clean break offices/break room/restroom/ shower facility to include floors, walls, windows, and furniture to ensure a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment. (50%)

* These may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Such as:
Order and retrieve supplies; and maintaining a clean and organized work area. (10%)

Biosecurity/Animal Welfare Requirements:

* The jobsite is a bio secure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the job site except for medical  and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.).

Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

* Physical:
Must use safe lifting techniques. Must regularly lift and/or move, up to 35 pounds to move items such as cases of synergize, bleach, etc.; tools, wheeled cart, may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to apx 50 pounds such as coffee and laundry supplies, etc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand majority of shift (concrete floor);

walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects and controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; climbing/ladder usage; stoop/bend up to 300 times per day; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus. Must have good communication skills to accurately convey opinions and concerns.

Environment:

* Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and also work in hot, dry, extreme dusty, dark, wet, icy, snowy and cold environments.

Safety goggles and/or glasses, face shield, chemical gloves, waterproof aprons, and company issued footwear are required. Ear plugs will be used as required. NIOSH approved N95 particulate respirators will be worn as needed. A respirator is required for formaldehyde application.
