Maintenance Technician II

Summary

Repair equipment and machinery in order to maintain building environment and grounds including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment as well as grounds keeping and repair services.

• Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
• Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
• Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
• Maintains and promotes professionalism
• Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
• Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
• Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
• Secures building and occupants by maintenance of fire alarm protection
• Mows the lawn and cleans surrounding landscapes
• Maintains equipment/machinery, systems and building by completing preventive maintenance schedules
• Repairs basic machinery utilizing a basic understanding of machine design and repair
• Sweeps walkways, removes litter, empties exterior trashcans and maintains paved areas
• Maintains building accessibility by removing ice and snow from walkways and parking lot
• Maintains building climate by trouble‑shouting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment
• Paints interior and exterior walls, trim, doors, fixtures and signs as needed
• Maintains facilities plumbing including fixtures and sprinklers
• Hauls file and boxes, moves furniture, sets up furnishings, prepares rooms for meetings, assembles public announcement and audio‑visual equipment following manufacturer’s operating and care guidelines, and repairs and installs replacement parts to assure equipment is in working order when needed
• Performs all other duties as assigned
