Do you take pride in creating clean, comfortable spaces where people can learn, explore, and connect? Our Eufaula Memorial Library is looking for a dependable Cleaning Clerk to help keep our library facilities looking their best for patrons, staff, and the community.

Employment Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Mondays - Fridays, 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Hours: 15 hours per week

Compinsation: $13.50 per hour

• Clean and maintain library areas, including public spaces, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and high-touch surfaces.
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Help maintain a neat, safe, and welcoming environment for library patrons and staff.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Ability to safely perform routine cleaning duties.
• Previous custodial or cleaning experience is helpful but not required.

• Six months relevant experience preferred
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
