Housekeeping# Housekeeping Tuttle Care Center - Tuttle, OK 73089## Overview Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day## Description The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors within the facility. This role supports infection prevention efforts and helps ensure compliance with health and safety standards in long-term care.###

Key Responsibilities
* Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
* Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces throughout the facility.
* Empty trash and replace liners in resident rooms and common areas.
* Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, handrails, and equipment.
* Follow infection control procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
* Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
* Respond to housekeeping requests from nursing staff and residents.
* Follow facility safety policies and proper waste disposal procedures.
* Assist with terminal cleaning of rooms after resident discharge or transfer.
* Maintain housekeeping carts and equipment in a clean and organized condition.## Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED preferred.
* Previous housekeeping experience in
** healthcare, long-term care, or hospitality
** preferred.
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and infection control practices.
* Ability to follow safety procedures and facility policies.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
