Facility Maintenance, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Develop maintenance schedules for operations by planning plant maintenance activities on a daily and weekly basis.
- Utilize CMMS and other tools to coordinate maintenance efforts.
- Work directly with maintenance mechanics, production associates, and leadership to schedule maintenance‑related downtime while ensuring maximum production efficiency.
- Demonstrate collaboration by attending weekly and monthly meetings, providing updates on maintenance schedules, and making recommendations for improvement.
- Issue approved schedules along with relevant work orders.
- Audit maintenance schedules by planning and implementing audits to verify compliance.
- Evaluate schedules when they are not followed and prepare audit work papers, documentation, and final reports of findings.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and available resources.
- Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
- Carry out tasks, communicate progress and relevant information, and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities.
- Adapt to and learn from change, challenges, and feedback.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and applying the Open Door Policy.
