Position Summary...

What you'll do...

* Assist other maintenance technicians with equipment repair and maintenance.

* Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on equipment, including:

* Lift trucks

* Pneumatic systems

* Material handling equipment

* Hydraulic equipment

* Dock equipment

* Electronic and electrical equipment

* Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment.

* Diagnose refrigeration and electrical problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electro-mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, laptops).

* Troubleshoot and repair complex ammonia refrigeration system issues involving logic controls and external input/output (I/O) devices when the issue is not immediately visible.

* Operate refrigeration system equipment (e.g., compressors, fan units).

* Perform PM and repairs on refrigeration system equipment by following OEM instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

* Clean up or prevent hazardous-material issues as a member of the Haz Mat team.

* Monitor work areas for safety concerns per written procedures and take appropriate action as needed.

* Complete work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documentation using established procedures.

* Lead and participate in teams by:

* Sharing resources, information, and tools

* Determining customer needs and business priorities

* Coordinating and executing work assignments

* Providing advice, feedback, and support to meet timelines and quality standards

* Modeling adaptability and helping others respond to change and new challenges
