Housekeeper-Part Time-Behavioral Facility

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Housekeepers in a Behavioral Health setting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all occupants and visitors.

This is a Mental Health Facility. Must be comfortable in this kind of environment!

Wage: $19/hr. + $250 Sign‑On Bonus after 4 months of employment

Shift: Friday‑Sunday

Part‑Time hours:

• 9:00 AM‑5:30 PM (24 hrs/wk)
• 12:00 PM‑5:00 PM (20 hrs/wk)

Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for all areas of the hospital, including public spaces, offices, and patient rooms:

• Handle biohazard materials and bodily fluid
• Isolation precautions for various infections
• Maintain the cleanliness of closets and storage areas
• Respond to cleaning requests via handheld radios and pagers
• Perform other janitorial duties as required

• Must get TB skin test and take drug screen
• Lift / push / pull up to 50 pounds
• Stand / walk for the entirety of the shift
• Bend / kneel / crouch / climb
