USA) Ammonia and Refrigeration Tech I-Manufacturing (Tue - Fri, 6am to 4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Assist other maintenance technicians with equipment repair and maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on equipment, including:
  • Lift trucks
  • Pneumatic systems
  • Hydraulic equipment
  • Electronic and electrical equipment
• Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment.
• Diagnose refrigeration and electrical problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electro‑mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, laptops).
• Troubleshoot and repair complex ammonia refrigeration system issues involving logic controls and external input/output (I/O) devices when the issue is not immediately visible.
• Operate refrigeration system equipment (e.g., compressors, fan units).
• Perform PM and repairs on refrigeration system equipment by following OEM instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Clean up or prevent hazardous‑material issues as a member of the Haz Mat team.
• Monitor work areas for safety concerns per written procedures and take appropriate action as needed.
• Complete work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer‑based documentation using established procedures.
• Lead and participate in teams by:
  • Sharing resources, information, and tools
  • Determining customer needs and business priorities
  • Coordinating and executing work assignments
  • Providing advice, feedback, and support to meet timelines and quality standards
  • Modeling adaptability and helping others respond to change and new challenges
• Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs by:
  • Collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners
  • Analyzing and applying information from multiple sources
  • Monitoring progress and results
  • Identifying and addressing improvement opportunities
• Demonstrate and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics/integrity standards by:
  • Explaining, guiding, and demonstrating proper application in business processes
  • Implementing related action plans

  • Assisting management in correcting ethical and compliance issues

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.85 - $39.85. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
