Rogers Lake Authority Seasonal Positions - Safety Patrol
The primary purpose of this seasonal position is to promote, monitor and maintain safety on Rogers Lake.

- Promote, monitor, and ensure the safety of all Rogers Lake users.
- Uphold and enforce a professional, customer-friendly attitude centered around awareness and safety.
- Maintain a presence that deters violations and promotes compliance.
- Keep the patrol boat clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Ensure the patrol boat is fueled as necessary.
- Maintain an activity log as directed by RLA.
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Valid State of Connecticut Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation (CPWO)
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid
- Demonstrated knowledge of State of CT DEEP boating regulations
- Demonstrated ability to work with local and state authorities
- Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule that includes Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays, and one Tuesday or Thursday evening weekly during the boating season
- Demonstrated competency about the RLA and the rules of Rogers Lake
- Willingness and availability to participate in CT DEEP education programs
$25.00/hour
Work ScheduleSeasonal, mid-May through mid-September, specific dates TBD, Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays, one Tuesday or Thursday evening weekly.
