Shipping Technician - Swing Shift

Shift: Monday - Thursday 2:00 p.m.

- 10:00 p.m.;
Friday 12:00 p.m.

- 8:00 p.m.

Shift Differential: $1.00 per worked hour

Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

• Examine contents and compare with records, such as invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.
• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
• Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies.
• Organize raw materials, label and store.
• Count inventory items.
• Assist with data-entry of inventory levels.
• Cooperatively work as a member of a team.
• Meet weekly production standards set by Cardinal CG management.

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Two years' work experience in a related field preferred
• Knowledge of common hand/power tools

Primary job duties are indoors. Position is exposed to loud noises on occasion. Employees are occasionally exposed to potential hazards. It is a busy, self‑motivated and request‑driven environment.

The Shipping Technician role is a safety sensitive position. This role will be temp to hire; based on performance, not quota.

Pay:
Starting at $20.00 per hour

Swing Shift: $1 per hour shift differential

Swing Shift [40 hours/week]: $21.00/hour starting + (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full‑time team members = $66,393.60*
