Summary

Perform special projects throughout Tarrant County which include pressure washing, carpet cleaning, moving, stripping, and waxing floors, performing building maintenance, school presentation setup, deliveries, transportation, and instruction and supervision of community service individuals. Ensure and maintain buildings.

• Pressure‑wash surfaces using county truck and trailer
• Clean carpets and furniture using carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment
• Perform event setups for county functions indoors and outdoors
• Move office furniture
• Strip and wax floors using chemicals and buffing equipment
• Make deliveries using county vehicles
• Transport, instruct, and supervise community service individuals
• Perform janitorial duties such as mopping, sweeping and cleaning restrooms using commercial cleaning equipment
• Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs
• Picks up building supplies from central supply
• Make notes of items needing maintenance and report to the supervisor
• Check ground for trash and debris
• Perform all other related duties as assigned

High School Diploma or GED + one (1) full‑time year of related experience.

Regularly required to lift, carry, walk, stand, sit, stoop, climb, pull, and push. Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation prior to employment. May require overtime, rotating shifts, nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must attach a copy of driver license and social security card with the application for a security reference check.
