Job SummaryThe custodian is responsible for providing custodial services to outbound retail locations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Perform basic custodial duties in an efficient and effective manner.
- Provide timely and excellent customer service.
- Provide input regarding inventory needs.
- Ensure Safety Data Sheets are available for all cleaning chemicals.
- Observe proper safety precautions in use of equipment and supplies to include proper labeling of all chemicals.
- Operate janitorial equipment such as automatic scrubber, burnisher and carpet extractor.
- Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position.
- Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers, and participants.

Education and/or Experience- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Six (6) months custodial experience preferred
- None
- Must be able to use equipment and chemicals in a safe manner
- Possess an understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Must have a thorough knowledge of proper cleaning procedures
Medium Lifting 70 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds
Work EnvironmentModerate Occasionally exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise fumes, dust, etc.)
