Part‑Time Custodian | Mon‑Fri, 4pm – 8pm
Job OverviewProvide basic routine cleaning services using defined methods, procedures, and equipment to create an environment that is safe, clean, comfortable, and sanitary for students, faculty, staff, and community members on campus.
Responsibilities- Basic Daily Cleaning:
Clean daily classrooms, conference rooms, research labs, offices, entrances, stairwells, water fountains, and other areas as assigned. - Mopping and Scrubbing:
Dust mop, spot mop, and auto‑scrub entry ways and hallways. - Restrooms:
Clean and restock restrooms daily. - Vacuum, dust, empty trash and perform other cleaning duties to assigned areas daily.
- Restorative and Project Cleaning:
Includes, but is not limited to, vents, carpet spotting, moving furniture, and other tasks as assigned. - Clean Equipment:
Clean all equipment after every use. - Change Light Bulbs.
- Respond to emergencies (e.g., flood).
- Set‑ups:
Participate in set‑ups as needed.
