Act as a lead worker and assist the supervisor. Perform custodial duties for an area of the campus.

• Educate immediate staff on the importance of working in a team environment.
• Assist and support supervisors by performing duties in their absence.
• Inspect custodial services provided in the assigned area.
• Perform limited scheduling duties for staff assigned to the area and shift.
• Orient new custodial staff assigned to area.
• Perform minor and routine maintenance in assigned areas, including changing light bulbs, cleaning equipment, and providing preventative maintenance on cleaning equipment.
• Perform floor care by stripping and scrubbing floors and vacuuming and shampooing carpets.
• Operate cleaning equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of custodial experience.

• One year of supervisory experience.
