We are looking for a dependable, hands‑on Building Engineer at one of our class‑A commercial properties. If you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and supporting a positive environment, this role offers a terrific opportunity make a meaningful impact every day.
What Does this Role Do?- Performs routine, non-licensed time-sensitive maintenance, and repair work across the property.
- Communicates updates with management, property manager, tenants, and vendors.
- Complete preventative maintenance rounds, inspections, and documentation.
- Ensures building appearance through signage installation, décor assistance, and general upkeep.
- Conducts internal inspections and supporting readiness for external audits (fire/life safety, housekeeping, room access, etc.)
- Coordinates with vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs and services.
- One to two years of commercial property maintenance, building operations, general facilities, or construction experience.
- Strong safety mindset and commitment to safe work practices.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and with teams.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and consistent access to reliable transportation are essential.
- Strong customer service mindset coupled with a professional presence and responsive approach.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong teamwork focus and safety mindset.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
Meddium to heavy work which includes frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying items up to fifty (50) pounds. This role must be able to hear alarms, warning sirens, etc. or see strobes and flashing lights of safety equipment.
Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
