Work Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 2:00‑10:30 pm

Position Summary

Act as a lead worker and assist the supervisor. Perform custodial duties for an area of the campus, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.

Job Duties
  • Educate Immediate Staff (20% of time, essential):
    Educate staff on teamwork when performing all job responsibilities.
  • Assist and Support Supervisors (20% of time):
    May assist supervisors by performing their duties in their absence.
  • Inspect Custodial Services (10% of time):
    Inspect services provided in the assigned area.
  • Scheduling Duties (10% of time):
    Perform limited scheduling duties for staff assigned to the area and shift.
  • Orient New Custodial Staff (10% of time, essential):
    Orient new staff assigned to the area.
  • Perform Minor and Routine Maintenance Duties (10% of time):
    Change light bulbs, clean equipment, and provide preventive maintenance on cleaning equipment.
  • Perform Floor Care Duties (10% of time, essential):
    Strip, scrub, vacuum, and shampoo carpets.
  • Operate Cleaning Equipment (10% of time, essential):
    Operate cleaning equipment.
Qualifications
  • Required

    Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Required Experience: Two years of custodial experience.
  • Required License/Certification: None specified.
  • Preferred Experience: One year of supervisory experience.
  • Preferred Education: Not specified.
  • Preferred License/Certification: Not specified.

Compensation

$16.82 – $18.05 per hour + shift pay.
