Midas Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee our maintenance department at our Hampton Inn located in Omaha, NE. This person will oversee all aspects of the hotel maintenance department including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and the preventive maintenance program.
What you will be doing- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
- Diagnoses problems or repairs machines.
- Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment.
- Maintains a Preventative Maintenance Program within the rooms to ensure they are kept up to standards on a quarterly basis and the proper documentation is recorded.
- Responds to maintenance requests received from Front Desk or Housekeeping within 15 minutes (occupied rooms).
- Performs pool chemical testing.
- At least 2 years of facilities experience
- Experience in a management position
