-8pm Position Summary

Provide basic routine cleaning services using defined methods, procedures, and equipment to create an environment that is safe, clean, comfortable, and sanitary for students, faculty, staff, and community members that are on campus.

• Clean daily classrooms, conference rooms, research labs, offices, entrances, stairwells, water fountains, and other areas as assigned.
• Dust mop, spot mop and auto scrub entry ways and hallways.
• Clean and restock restrooms daily.
• Vacuum, dust, empty trash and perform other cleaning duties to assigned areas daily.
• Restorative and project cleaning including, but not limited to vents, carpet spotting, moving furniture and other as assigned.
• Clean all equipment after every usage.
• Change light bulbs.
• Respond to emergencies (flood, etc).
• Participate in set ups.

• Ability to understand and follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical labor.
• Ability to work effectively on a team and independently, and to interact courteously with a variety of people.
• Criminal background check and drug screen required.
• Pre‑employment physical assessment required.
