Ogallala Public Schools is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Activities Custodian. This position plays an important role in ensuring our facilities are clean, safe, and ready for students, staff, and community members during school activities and athletic events.

• Part-Time (up to 20 hours per week)
• Fall & Winter position
• Evening hours primarily following school activities, athletic events, and other district functions
• Flexible schedule based on the activities calendar

• Clean and prepare school facilities following athletic events, activities, and community use.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean and restock restrooms.
• Set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment as needed.
• Ensure entrances, hallways, gyms, and common areas are clean and presentable.
• Secure buildings by locking doors and turning off lights when duties are complete.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform other custodial duties as assigned.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical custodial tasks.
• Willingness to work evenings and occasional weekends based on the activities schedule.

Previous custodial experience is preferred but not required.
