Position Summary

Work as a Landscape Technician in a Walmart store, responsible for maintaining grounds and landscaping to enhance the customer experience.

Serve as a key member of the maintenance team, overseeing landscape projects and ensuring year‑round cleanliness and safety.

• Conduct ground maintenance activities in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Mow, trim, and prune vegetation to keep the exterior environment pristine.
• Collaborate with associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance.
• Adhere to stringent safety, security, and integrity protocols and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements at local, federal, and state levels.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Vocational or technical certification or 2 years’ experience in Mechanical Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, or Construction and/or related field.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or a related area.
• Experience in third‑party management.
• Proficient in using intermediate functions of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish.
• State/local licensing where required (e.g., Florida, Texas, California).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 – $35.00 (actual rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage). Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
