Maintenance- Heavy Equipment

Job Title

Pay starts at $27 - $36.05 hr based on experience

Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, machines and tools

Inspect drives, motors, belts, etc.; check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions

Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work

Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove and repair/replace defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools

Perform manual labor

Maintains proper inventory of required parts

Maintain order and housekeeping; maintains grounds as assigned

Perform all occupational safety and hazard procedures in conjunction with all essential duties

Knowledge of equipment, machines and tools

Occupational hazards and proper safety precautions

Skills in performing routine maintenance on equipment

Repairing equipment, machines or systems using the required tools

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees

Ability to communicate effectively and at an appropriate level for this classification
