Astoria Senior Living, an Agemark Senior Living community, is looking for an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance operations and help provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and team members.

• Lead & Support Your Team:
  Supervise Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry staff while ensuring work is completed safely and effectively.
• Keep Our Community Running:
  Maintain buildings, grounds, systems, and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, vehicles, and appliances.
• Maintain Safety & Compliance:
  Oversee safety inspections, fire drills, emergency preparedness, and compliance with applicable OSHA, fire, and building requirements.
• Coordinate Suite Turnovers:
  Ensure resident suites are prepared for move-ins and support smooth move-in and move-out processes.
• Manage Vendors & Budgets:
  Coordinate with contractors and vendors while effectively managing maintenance expenses.
• Support Residents & Team Members:
  Respond promptly to maintenance needs and help create a community where residents and employees feel comfortable and supported.

• Leadership experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A hands-on leader who is approachable, dependable, and willing to jump in where needed.
• Flexibility to respond to emergencies and changing priorities.
