Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Roving Maintenance Technician to support our homeowners associations and properties we manage. This role involves providing proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services across multiple sites to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and schematic reading skills, along with leadership experience in facilities maintenance. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a versatile technician to contribute to a dynamic environment while utilizing a broad skill set including welding, residential painting, and CMMS management.
This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance, strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to adapt quickly to different environments within our facilities network.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems across multiple locations.
- Trouble shoot maintenance issues.
- Carry out residential maintenance tasks for upgrades or repairs as required.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using property maintenance software.
- Supervise contractors during maintenance projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Lead small teams during projects, demonstrating leadership and customer service skills to coordinate work effectively.
- Assist with maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC repairs when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Proven experience in property maintenance, dealing with multiple maintenance situations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot complex systems.
- Electrical experience.
- Strong plumbing experience with proven background.
- Experience with software for work order management and documentation.
- Experience in a maintenance setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and reporting.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a roving capacity across multiple sites.
- Valid driver's license is preferred for travel between locations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
