Facilities Administrator

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8-Hour Shifts (Occasional Weekends as Needed)
The Autism Center of Nebraska (ACN) is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Facilities Administrator to support our mission of enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. This position is responsible for maintaining and improving ACN-owned and operated facilities through preventative maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and coordination with outside contractors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Perform general building maintenance and repair projects across multiple ACN locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues involving basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general facility systems.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure facilities remain safe and operational.
- Coordinate and communicate with specialized contractors and service providers when needed.
- Monitor facility conditions and identify areas requiring repair or improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance work and projects.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility-related emergencies.
- Assist with facility inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines.
- Travel between ACN worksites as needed.

Qualifications- Experience in general home repair, maintenance, or a related trade.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between worksites.
- Willingness to promote and adhere to ACN's core values and mission
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must successfully pass all required background checks.
