Summary
We are seeking a Substitute Custodian to join our team on an as-needed basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility during the absence of our regular custodial staff.
Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and other common areas
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols
- Communicate effectively with other staff members and supervisors
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous custodial experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
