Accounting Manager - Work from home

LHH (Atlanta) is partnering with a well‑known, publicly traded organization to identify an Accounting Manager to join a high‑performing finance team. • Lead key aspects of the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee preparation of GAAP‑compliant financial statements and related disclosures
• Maintain and evolve accounting policies and procedures in line with U.S. GAAP and public company requirements
• Partner cross‑functionally on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity to ensure data integrity
• Prepare and deliver financial reporting packages for senior leadership
• Act as a primary point of contact for external auditors and support audit‑related activities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA strongly preferred)
• 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including public accounting exposure
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• $115,000 – $145,000 base salary plus bonus
• Hybrid schedule: work from home 3 days per week
