Position: Tax Analyst III - Remote / Telecommute

Job Overview

Responsible for supporting tax-related project work, including Delaware and Oregon voluntary disclosure agreement activities, managing pay cycle operations, coordinating with internal stakeholders and third-party partners, and supporting accounts payable and escheatment reporting functions.

The role requires strong attention to detail, project management capabilities, and experience working within tax, accounting, or accounts payable environments.

Requirement/Must Have

  • Project management experience with the ability to manage deadlines and multi-task effectively.

Experience
  • Experience managing partnerships and stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience with full-cycle accounts payable processes.
  • Experience in procure-to-pay, tax, or accounting functions.
  • Experience with escheatment reporting and filing activities or oversight of third-party providers.
  • Experience preparing, distributing, and filing 1099 forms, including corrections.
  • Experience supporting audits, SOX compliance, and internal control requirements.
  • Experience working with third-party auditors.
  • Experience working for a global corporation.
  • Experience with state voluntary unclaimed property audits, preferably Delaware.
Responsibilities
  • Support project work related to Delaware and Oregon voluntary disclosure agreement activities.
  • Interact with Accounts Payable teams during pay cycles to troubleshoot system-related issues.
  • Coordinate with third-party escheatment firms.
  • Run pay cycles on a daily basis.
  • Perform additional assigned duties as needed.
Should Have
  • Experience with Oracle ERP.
  • Experience with People Soft ERP.
  • Management experience.
  • Experience with SAP or S4 ERP systems.
Skills
  • Accounts Payable processes.
  • Escheatment reporting and filing.
  • 1099 processing and reporting.
  • Customer service and support.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including reporting, pivot tables, and data import/export.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Project management.
Qualification And Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Equivalent related experience may be considered.
