- Managing or assisting with projects including but not limited to weekly and month‑end/year‑end close processes, management reporting and preparing reconciliations
- Recording fixed assets and depreciation
- Calculating and reporting indirect taxes
- Helping clients prepare cash flow and/or financial projections
- Assisting clients with payroll processing and 1099 preparation
- Troubleshooting client issues as they arise
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a history of progressive accounting or strong internal accounting/bookkeeping experience is required
- Proficient with Quick Books Desktop or Online and Excel
- Hands‑on experience with month‑end accounting processes and management reporting preparation
- Some experience with construction accounting is highly preferred (job schedules, percentage of completion revenue recognition, etc.)
- Any experience with payroll processing that is related to tax compliance is a plus
- Exposure using Pro Systems FxEngagement software is a plus
- Prior experience servicing clients in a professional services environment is a plus.
- Ability to travel to client locations within the Atlanta area (< 10%)
- Exceptional and proactive communicator (verbal & written)
