Senior Audit Manager – Construction, Retail, Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Hospitality, Tech, Transportation, and more!
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join a growing public accounting team. The Senior Manager will lead complex engagements, mentor staff, manage client relationships, and help drive practice growth while delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
- Review audit work papers, financial statements, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee engagement planning, scheduling, communication, budgeting, and overall project execution.
- Resolve complex client accounting and audit issues while serving as a trusted advisor.
- Prepare engagement billings and monitor project profitability.
- Review common files and ensure adherence to professional standards and firm quality requirements.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to engagement team members.
- Assist with staffing needs by supporting multiple engagement teams as necessary.
- Participate in firm initiatives, business development, and practice growth efforts.
- Support recruiting initiatives through interviews, career fairs, and networking events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience in audit and/or assurance.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and client relationship skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in public accounting.
- Experience leading multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop staff.
