Senior Audit Manager​/Director

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join a growing public accounting team. The Senior Manager will lead complex engagements, mentor staff, manage client relationships, and help drive practice growth while delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Review audit work papers, financial statements, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee engagement planning, scheduling, communication, budgeting, and overall project execution.
• Resolve complex client accounting and audit issues while serving as a trusted advisor.
• Prepare engagement billings and monitor project profitability.
• Review common files and ensure adherence to professional standards and firm quality requirements.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to engagement team members.
• Assist with staffing needs by supporting multiple engagement teams as necessary.
• Participate in firm initiatives, business development, and practice growth efforts.
• Support recruiting initiatives through interviews, career fairs, and networking events.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience in audit and/or assurance.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and client relationship skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in public accounting.
• Experience leading multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop staff.
