The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing staff, reviewing tax returns, preparring complex tax returns, and managing a book of business.
Responsibilities
- Perform tax research as necessary
- Prepare and review tax returns
- Train and develop staff
- Manage staff accountants and senior associates
- Manage a book of business (main point of contact for clients, billing, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years' of experience of professional tax experience working for a small to mid-sized CPA firm
- CPA Required
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Hybrid environment - ability to work from home
