CJG Partners LLP is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow on a regular basis
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Collaborate with partners and staff to ensure financial data accuracy and reporting deadlines are met
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Quick Books, Xero, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of general ledger, bank reconciliation, and basic accounting principles
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
