Legal Assistant

Description

We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join a regulatory and risk management team within a corporate legal department. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with the flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and provides an excellent opportunity for career growth.

Responsibilities:

- Manage calendars and schedules to ensure seamless coordination of meetings and deadlines.

- Prepare, proofread, and compose correspondence and documentation with attention to detail.

- Utilize Office tools to create reports and maintain accurate tracking systems.

- Submit and reconcile invoices in two separate systems while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

- Adapt to evolving systems and processes, maintaining efficiency throughout transitions.

- Collaborate with team members to support regulatory and risk management initiatives.

- Provide general legal administrative support to the department.

Requirements

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

- Strong organizational skills with experience in calendar management.

- Ability to compose detail-oriented correspondence and maintain documentation standards.

- Familiarity with invoice submission and reconciliation processes.

- Capacity to adapt quickly to new systems and tools.

- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.

- Ability to work effectively in both remote and in-office settings.

- Previous experience in a law firm, or corporate legal department, required.
