A Non-profit Organization is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to its Chief Executive Officer. This fully remote Executive Assistant position offers a competitive salary of $70,000–$90,000 depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and resourceful professional who enjoys working closely with executive leadership and managing a variety of strategic and administrative priorities. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator, strong writer and editor, and someone who can confidently represent executive leadership with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
This individual will play a key role in supporting executive operations, Board coordination, and organizational initiatives. Benefits include medical, PTO, and 401(k).
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO by managing schedules, coordinating priorities, organizing meetings, and ensuring timely follow-through on important commitments.
- Oversee executive communications by monitoring and organizing the CEO’s inbox, drafting responses, and preparing polished written materials including correspondence, presentations, and reports.
- Coordinate Board of Directors and committee activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, maintaining records, and ensuring all necessary follow-up is completed.
- Assist with executive and organizational planning efforts by tracking key initiatives, maintaining documentation, and supporting special projects led by senior leadership.
- Manage logistics for meetings, conferences, leadership gatherings, and other events, ensuring all details are thoughtfully planned and executed.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with Board members, internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders while serving as a trusted representative of the CEO’s office.
- Support administrative operations through expense tracking, document organization, vendor coordination, and identifying opportunities to improve internal processes.
- Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality while exercising professionalism, discretion, and independent judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience providing executive-level administrative support, ideally within a senior leadership environment.
- Experience supporting Board meetings, committees, or governance-related activities strongly preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong editing and proofreading abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules, prioritize competing responsibilities, and stay organized in a remote work environment.
- Highly professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with executives, stakeholders, and external contacts.
- Advanced organizational skills with excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to proactively identify needs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; experience with SharePoint, Zoom, or project management tools is a plus.
