Role Description

Join Trident Safety USA and drive market share for dangerous goods consulting, training, and compliance services! We're seeking a highly motivated, results‑driven BDM with proven B2B sales success and a strategic mindset.

Reporting to the CEO, you will shape sales strategies, cultivate key relationships, and solidify our position as a trusted compliance partner. Be instrumental in identifying and engaging industry stakeholders, developing tailored solutions, and ensuring service excellence alongside our technical and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and surpass sales targets across all Trident Safety USA services.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    Identify, research, and proactively pursue new business opportunities, focusing on clients such as shippers, carriers, and logistics providers in need of dangerous goods compliance and safety expertise.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Build, maintain, and strengthen long‑term relationships with both new and existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor for their DG compliance needs.
  • Proposal Development:
    Prepare, present, and negotiate persuasive service proposals and contracts.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Stay updated with industry trends, dangerous goods regulations, and competitor activities to uncover new market opportunities.
  • Collaboration:

    Work in close partnership with operations and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high client satisfaction.
  • Reporting:
    Keep accurate and current records of all sales activities and client information using CRM tools and regularly provide sales forecasts and progress reports to management.
  • Travel:
    Travel as needed for client meetings, industry conferences, and trade shows.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience (5+ years preferred) in B2B sales, business development, or a related field, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or regulatory compliance industries is a significant advantage. Direct experience with Dangerous Goods (DG) or Hazardous Materials (Haz Mat) is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of the sales cycle, lead generation, and deal closing processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, self‑motivate, and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (such as Salesforce, Hub Spot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Residency in Atlanta, GA, or the surrounding area is preferred.
